From Colombia to Estonia: Meet David, the Entrepreneur Building Across Borders 🌍

One of the best parts of working with entrepreneurs from all over the world is getting to see what they actually build after setting up their companies.

And sometimes, the story goes much further than just one business.

Meet David Camacho Baron: entrepreneur, digital nomad, e-Resident and founder of Your Web Team.

Originally from Colombia and also a New Zealand citizen, David has spent the last few years building businesses across countries, time zones and very different markets.

Through Your Web Team, David and his team have already completed 600+ projects for clients in more than 15 countries. At the same time, he has spent the last three years living a fully nomadic lifestyle and running his business from wherever he happens to be in the world.

Sounds very e-Residency already, right? 😄

How Estonia became part of the journey 🇪🇪

As David’s business became more international, Europe naturally became an interesting market.

But expanding into Europe also comes with the less exciting side of entrepreneurship: company structures, administration, banking, compliance and figuring out how everything works when you are not physically based there.

That’s where Estonia and e-Residency came into the picture.

David used e-Residency to establish an Estonian company and create a European base that he could manage remotely.

And that’s also where we became part of his journey.

At GrouHub, our role has been to support David with the practical side of running his Estonian company, helping make sure the administrative side doesn’t get in the way of what he actually wants to focus on: clients, ideas and growth.

For someone who moves frequently between countries, that flexibility matters.

As David explains:

“Estonia’s e-Residency gave me the ultimate digital foundation to run European operations 100% online.”

That is exactly what makes e-Residency so interesting for many of the entrepreneurs we work with.

Your business can have a home, even when you don’t necessarily have one fixed location.

And then came a completely different business

What we especially like about David’s story is that his Estonian journey didn’t stop with his digital agency.

While spending time in Estonia and connecting with people locally, David also co-founded latienda.ee, an online store bringing authentic Latin American products to the Estonian market.

So today, he is involved in two very different businesses: A digital agency working with clients internationally, and an e-commerce business selling physical products here in Estonia.

And somehow, both fit perfectly into the same entrepreneurial journey.

Because having the right digital setup gives you space to explore.

Sometimes that means expanding an existing business.

Sometimes it means starting something completely new because you meet the right people, spot an opportunity or simply think: why not?

We see this quite often in our community.

Entrepreneurs rarely follow one perfectly straight path.

Your Web Team is evolving too 🤖

David is also taking Your Web Team into its next phase.

The agency is moving towards an AI-first hybrid model, combining Wix Studio web development with AI-powered services such as automation and lead triage, while keeping the more strategic and creative parts of the work human.

We think that balance is an interesting one.

AI can make many processes faster.

But that doesn’t mean every part of a business needs to become automated.

In David’s case, the idea is to use AI where it genuinely saves time, while keeping human thinking where it matters most.

And for entrepreneurs who are already managing clients, projects and businesses across several countries, saving time is usually a pretty good place to start.

What we like about David’s story

There are many ways to use e-Residency.

For some people, it is simply the easiest way to operate an EU company remotely.

For others, it becomes part of something bigger.

David’s journey is a nice example of that.

He started with an international service business.

He created a European base through Estonia.

He built connections here.

Those connections eventually turned into a second business.

And now he is continuing to evolve his original company with new technology and new services.

Not bad for someone who doesn’t even stay in one country for very long 😄

Want to work with David?

One of the reasons we wanted to share David’s story is simple:

there are some really interesting entrepreneurs inside the GrouHub network, and we want more people to know about them.

Through Your Web Team, David works with companies looking for support with web design, Wix Studio development and AI-powered business solutions.

So if your website needs some attention, you are exploring automation for your business, or you simply want to see what David and his team are building, you can find them at yourweb.nz.

And if you happen to be in Estonia and are looking for Latin American products, take a look at latienda.ee too 🌮

Welcome to GrouConnect 💚

This article is part of GrouConnect, an initiative we created to bring more visibility to the entrepreneurs and e-Residents who are part of the GrouHub network.

Because for us, GrouHub has never only been about opening companies, doing accounting or helping with compliance.

There are real people building businesses behind all of that.

Today, our network includes entrepreneurs from all over the world, working across completely different industries.

And we think there is a lot of value in helping them discover each other.

A client today could become someone else’s supplier tomorrow.

Another entrepreneur in our network could become your next partner, collaborator or customer.

So with GrouConnect, we want to do something very simple: help entrepreneurs keep supporting entrepreneurs.

We’ll use this space to introduce more of the people behind the companies we work with, share what they are building and make it easier for our community to connect with each other.

And David is a pretty good place to start. 💚

Are you part of the GrouHub network and building something we should know about?
